Our Story
Castle Black Swan is the vision of its owners, Valina and Greg Lapointe, who imagined a private estate that blended European architectural drama with the natural beauty of Ixtapa’s Pacific coastline.
Inspired by historic European design and a desire to create a space that felt both bold and welcoming, Valina and Greg curated every element of the property intentionally. The castle’s dramatic silhouette, hand-finished stonework, and imported antique doors reflect her appreciation for permanence and craftsmanship. At the same time, the layout was designed for flow, comfort, and hosting — ensuring that gatherings feel seamless rather than staged.
They did not set out to build a conventional destination venue rental. They envisioned a private sanctuary where families, couples, and retreat leaders could gather without distraction — a setting that encourages presence, celebration, and connection.
